KNOW ABOUT GALAXY
METAL WELDING
Welding of the EN AW-5083H111 alloy using TIG (Tungsten Inert Gas) and MIG (Metal Inert Gas) methods ensures high-strength joints. This is especially important for creating reliable hulls capable of withstanding extreme loads and operating conditions. The alloy is characterized by excellent weldability, allowing for the creation of monolithic, durable, and reliable structures, which is critical for safety on the water.
CHROMATE-FREE TITANIUM PASSIVATION ENVIROX
PAINTING PROCESS
Marine-grade polyester powder coating ensures high durability and aesthetic appeal for GALAXY boats. The advantages of powder coating include:
· Uniform and ultra-strong finish,
· UV resistance,
· Protection against corrosion,
· Resistance to mechanical impacts,
· Environmentally friendly process with no volatile organic compounds (VOCs) involved.
TUBES AND MATERIALS
High-quality materials from leading global manufacturers are used for the production of tubes. Depending on the client’s choice, the tubes can be made from Hypalon or PVC.
Hypalon offers high wear resistance and UV stability, making it ideal for extreme water adventures.
PVC (Polyvinyl Chloride) is a durable and flexible material widely used in the marine industry, offering an excellent price-to-quality ratio. It ensures longevity and reliability for various operating conditions and is resistant to abrasion, chemicals, UV exposure, and saltwater.
D-TUBES
The D-tube technology features a specially designed sectional tube that can be quickly and easily replaced when needed. Covered with a highly durable material resistant to moisture, UV rays, and physical damage, the D-tubes offer superior protection in demanding conditions. Inside, a unique filler material is used to enhance the tube’s structural integrity, ensuring long-lasting performance and increased safety on the water. This innovative solution allows for minimal downtime and maximizes operational efficiency in the field.
Non-slip deck coating
Rubber coating for decks that provides excellent anti-slip properties due to its high rubber content and specially designed textured surface. This texture ensures optimal grip, offering high slip resistance even in wet conditions. The material is highly resistant to wear, fuels, UV exposure, and temperature fluctuations, ensuring a long lifespan while maintaining its original properties. Compared to quintets, this rubber coating significantly enhances safety for the crew by preventing accidental falls and slips, which is crucial for maritime safety.
